Do you want to look like Brad Pitt?

I wanted to look like Brad Pitt — somewhere between Fight Club and Troy.

In this article, you will see how this British Reality Star Shed His Dad Bod and Got Shredded.

Spencer Matthews laments, “I’ve never been in more trouble in my life,” two days before finishing a difficult physical transformation. “And I’ve done some things.” He has gamely shrugged off the inevitable inquiries about PEDs that led to his 2013 ejection from the British reality TV celebrity jungle. “It was Avalar, by the way, pills, not needles, and they were shit—it did nothing.”

This is, of course, well-known information. However, bringing it up serves a purpose: to make the individual on the photograph before you were more clear. Matthews has rid himself of the Dadbod that came with juggling job and family responsibilities to feel stronger and appear slimmer than he ever has before in only ten weeks. This time, he’s done it the proper way.

The results are extraordinary. He dropped his waist by two inches, reduced his body fat from 12% to 5%, and lost 13 pounds of pure blubber, which decreased his waist from 38 to 32. His bench press increased from 165 kg to 214 pounds, and his deadlift increased from 154 lbs to 285. Some will say that going from 12% body fat to 0% body fat is less of a struggle, but this overlooks the value of the challenge. This was all about adding a spectacular cherry on top of a two-year transformation.

Say No To Alcohol

Say-No-To-Alcohol

“Alcohol had a major influence in my youth and twenties,” says Matthews. “I’ve worked in the city where drinking was very much encouraged before.” After work, a G&T before lunch, and then going way too far on the weekends. “It was affecting my body, my career, and I was blaming others for my failures.” “I realized I would never be able to reach my full potential if I continued to allow alcohol to get in the way.” He gave up drinking six months before becoming a father.

“It’s fascinating since you’re making a good life decision,” he adds. “If you go to the gym every day, it’s considered good. However, if you go quiet, people think you’re boring.” He was expected to give up, but Matthews didn’t just keep going; he capitalized on it.

Clean Co has expanded at an amazing rate since he started it. They made £3 million in their first year, selling six low-alcohol gins and a rum, and they’ve already collected £7 million to continue growing. He is a man who can’t do things half-heartedly, and when given a chance to explore the advantages of clean living for his fitness, not just his company, he jumped at the chance.

Clean Slate

Clean-Slate

“You don’t understand the sense of changing unless you completely destroy your life,” says Matthews. “I wanted to look like Brad Pitt—somewhere between Fight Club and Troy.” The new six-pack abs showcase his accomplishment; it was not simple, but his attitude is refreshingly straightforward.

“The desire will be to give up if you start something difficult,” he adds. “Keep going, though, and you’ll feel better about yourself as a result of your efforts.” He had been there for months, but he made a turnaround under the careful coaching of trainer Shaun Stafford. “No one likes being bad at anything; I was tensing in front of the mirror, and nothing happened; it was insulting.” “But I kept going, began to appreciate it, and now it’s a big part of my life.”

Diet

Diet

On the other hand, his diet will not survive beyond the photoshoot. It took an effort to maintain a 600 calorie decrease every day. “I was offered a cheat meal every week, but I refused it,” he says. “If I break a bucket of chicken wings, I’ve got to burn 2000 calories later..” It also made his life simpler to get meal prep services from Men’s Health Fuel (“they were convenient and took the guesswork out of counting my calories”) while he revisited his shopping list.

Stafford classified his foods as friends or enemies. When nutrition is king, healthy fats like salmon and avocado in popular wellness components such as nuts were the enemy and replaced with low-fat, high-fiber ingredients like green vegetables to help Matthews feel full. “We’re aiming for a 3500 calorie decrease across a week,” says Stafford. “Eat a jar of peanut butter, and you’re done.”

After the photoshoot, the calories will rise. I’ve enjoyed lifting heavier too. Now he’ll be focused on adding pounds to his lifting records while also developing in his new interest, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He was recently promoted to blue belt by world-famous jiu-jitsu practitioner and instructor Roger Gracie.

“Working this hard is completely pointless if you just put it all back on again,” he concludes. And that’s exactly the point. It’s a quick start to your transformation lifestyle. If you can get through it, you’ll emerge stronger, slimmer, and hunger for fitness will endure a lifetime if nurtured. Matthews’ life overhaul is complete, but he’s just getting started. Now it’s your turn.
